The 222 Jiu Jitsu Kids Programme offers classes for ages 5-7 and 8+. We focus on making learning fun while teaching fundamental Jiu Jitsu techniques and developing cognitive, social, and physical skills. Our classes are designed to encourage focus, discipline, perseverance, independence, and confidence.
The 222 Kids Programme goes beyond the mats, using Jiu Jitsu to instill important core values like confidence, self-discipline, and respect. We aim to positively shape and impact the next generation, helping them grow both on and off the mat.
JUNIOR 5-7 PROGRAMME
The 222 Jiu Jitsu Kids 5-7 Programme builds on the goals of the 3-5 age group while introducing a more diverse set of Jiu Jitsu techniques and skills.
Program Goals:
Instill self-discipline and personal responsibility
Develop physical awareness and coordination
Build strength, speed, and balance with specific exercises
Increase situational and positional sparring
Use goal-setting as a method for self-improvement
We will continue to reinforce:
Good behavior and ability to follow instructions
Ability to focus in a group setting
Basic Jiu Jitsu positions and techniques
Building confidence and communication skills
In this programme, students will develop a better understanding of sparring and how to apply techniques. The focus is on individual growth, allowing each student to progress at their own pace while working towards improvement. Instructors will guide students based on their experience and goals, ensuring everyone gets the right level of attention.
Students will continue to learn through engaging drills, sparring, and structured training that is both fun and challenging. The overall aim is to build confidence, discipline, and a strong foundation in Jiu Jitsu.
JUNIOR 8+ PROGRAMME
This is the oldest age group in our kids’ programme, marking an important transitional phase as we prepare students to enter the adult programme. Our goal is to equip them with the confidence and skills they need to excel in Jiu Jitsu and continue to grow into adulthood.

Develop sparring skills
Encourage teamwork
Foster self-control
Use goal-setting for self-improvement

As students approach the age of 14, they may transition into the adult programme with the instructor’s permission. In this phase, students will continue to build their technique, sparring ability, and mental toughness, preparing them for a seamless shift into adult-level training. This programme helps them develop the tools needed to thrive in Jiu Jitsu and beyond.
